Tesla -Old Car Trade in Questions

I got a 7 day trade in estimate for my trade in but that's assuming that's the value if it's free of mechanical / cosmetic issues. My car definitely has mechanical issues like a rattling sound driving at low speeds, part of the driver seat has a small tear/rip, etc.

Do they care and will reduce the trade in value? Should I just go with car max at this point?

Also how do they pay you, is it a check, cash or will they reduce the price of the loan, etc.?

When we traded our Tesla in for a new one, they had us submit photos of the exterior, interior, & odometer. They will look at these photos and may reduce the trade in value accordingly. Nothing was wrong with ours, and they gave us the full estimate. We paid cash for our new Tesla and the trade-in value was subtracted from our total.
