Tesla out of stock Nema 14 30, other options?

Hi everyone,

I am new to the Tesla charging game as I just picked up my Model 3 this week.

I like to get the Nema 14-30 adapter to attach to my dryer outlet, but it seems to be sold out.

What other options do I have?

Get another adapter that works?
Is there a secondary marker for these?
or just wait till they are back in stock?

Can I buy the 14-50 and just get another adapter for that

Just wait. They generally go in and out of stock rapidly. Put yourself on the Notify list for it.

If you plug the 14-50 into a 30A outlet (assuming there exists an aftermarket adapter for it), you will likely trip the circuit breaker, since the charger detects the 50A adapter and will try to pull 32A.

If you need something immediately, you could get an N10-30 adapter for the TMC ($45) and then a 14-30 to 10-30 pigtail like this ($13):
