Tesla owes me money from a trade in but I have no proof

I did a trade in Saturday and Tesla owes me around $11,500. I was signing documents and one had all the info on it but they didn't give me a copy. I don't see it on my Tesla account either. My delivery specialist is not responding to my questions. Should I be worried? I don't want to wait 30-60 days hoping I get a check and then not get it with no proof that I am suppose to get it. Has anyone had a trade in where Tesla owed them money?

Did you ask for a copy of the document when you signed it?
Each time I bought a Tesla, they gave me a big lecture about how it's a high-tech company. Paperless is the way!

I have never trusted paperless systems (like paperless voting), and I specifically demanded paper copies in my hands before I left the delivery center in 2012, 2017, and 2018.

Go online to your Tesla Account and select "manage" for your car. All documents should be in the "Glove Box."

The Motor Vehicle Purchase Agreement should show any trade-in credit. Doesn't yours?
My online MVPA was screwed up. Showed as a full amount cash purchase. Registration showed a trade. Tesla haunted me for money I owed them. Never got resolved. They think I’m a deadbeat. The registration was done correctly, that they performed, but that wasn’t good enough proof for them. It had to do with the tax benefit on trades. Paper work was done correctly at purchase time but the computer never got updated.

Good luck to the OP.

This reminds me of my papers, all dated for the sale a day before I purchased the car. This is why I was charged for Supercharging the car and for idle fees during dealer preparation even before I had seen the car, because Tesla had it marked as already being sold to me. I hope this missing day doesn't cause a problem if I need warranty on the last day.
