Release of the car to an independent review site for an extended test drive. Clarification as to whether the car actually does go 343 miles EPA versus the 310 that Tesla seems to have had the EPA put on the sticker. Those are two off the top of my head...

If I understand correctly, there were over 100K orders placed in the first couple of days yet on the three forums sites I have been following there appear to be less than 20 total invites. Is this because other invitees don't follow any of the forums or because only 20 or 30 invites have been sent or because many are deferring their purchase?

It's because the majority of those 100k were not current Model S/X Roadster owners, Tesla is going through their stated priorities, Current Owners / Geography

I so regret not waiting in line....if I had a time machine and had the ability to go back in time (at any day)....that's what I would have done

Just think of all the tiny tweaks and bugs that will be worked out by the time they get to our cars!

I like the spreadsheet that schonelucht has on Google. But just in case the CEO's of GM and VW go in and intentionally start messing with the numbers, I'm going to still post yesterdays results...

There is never a finished UI. The UI on my 5 year old Model S changes all the time. There have been many full video walkthroughs of the current UI.

Yes, my first reservation will be placed now. The second (when offered) will wait on AWD availability.

Same deal for me. Order placed now with the second for later. My original intention was to get a Model 3 ludicrous to replace the S. But I’ve been thinking about an X instead, and in that case, probably wouldn’t use the second reservation.

• Reserved 3/31/16 at 10:30 in the Bay Area.
• Not an owner at the time, but ordered an X a few months later.
• Invited to configure 11/21 at 12:30, quoted "Delivery in 4 weeks".
• Decided to wait and try to time delivery closer to lease expiration in May '18.
• Hoping for white interior, maybe AWD/SAS.
