To envisage a world without petrol, this previous petrol station, now a permanent bar and food destination is a fitting location to host our Tesla owners.
The evening will start at our Tesla Showroom in Richmond where you can follow the convoy to Welcome to Thornbury for dinner and to enjoy great company.

I might just have to go and check out the facelift in the flesh, see what I bought! Hopefully weather holds out for the outdoor food venue, looking like cold and rain. :/

We are excited that you will be joining us for an evening of delicious food and Tesla talk at the iconic Food Truck Stop, Welcome to Thornbury. Below you will find the itinerary for the evening and what food trucks will be available on the night.


Itinerary:

4:00pm – Meet at Tesla Showroom Richmond

4:25pm – Run through the evening and get ready to drive

4:30pm – Leave Tesla Showroom for a pre-determined convoy route to Welcome to Thornbury

5:10pm – Arrive at Welcome to Thornbury

5:15pm – Start festivities and enjoy an evening of networking and great food!


We will provide complimentary food and drink at the event from a selection of local vendors. To see what great eateries will be there visit the Welcome to Thornbury website.


We are really looking forward to seeing you and meeting friends and family.

I was at Richmond SC today, picked up a second wall connector, spoke with most of the staff, no mention of tomorrow's event, curious?
My MS arrives in 3 weeks. Could attend, but in an ICE.
Would be interested to hear a report on the night

I've been struggling to get a second wall connector (3 phase with 7 metre lead) because of limited stock. Was yours 3 phase 7 metre ?

Yes, my 3 phase wall connector has a 7m lead.
I have a single phase (now installed) at home also with a 7m lead but no car - MS lands 11-12 June, with delivery maybe 17 June (fingers crossed). How are you coping with the waaaiiiittt?

Was great to meet and chat with other owners last night, like a real life forum! But with burger and beer, so better! Great venue, if only all petrol stations were converted to bars and fully autonomous Tesla could be the designated driver home, what a better world it would be. Looking forward to the next one, was talk of a golf day at some stage so a longer trek would be great, maybe to Torquay etc. Impressive to see so many electric vehicles in convoy, one day hopefully soon will be less of a novelty!
