So looks like out of 26 planned, 21 is already up and running. Of the remaining 5, two in construction and two in permit plus one more yet to start the process.

Yes, truly incredible.

And more planned apparently that weren’t even on the original list!

They’ve been a real lifesaver for us in terms of long distance travel.

this may have been answered prior (I have stopped at the Buc ee in SC probably 5 times)
what the heck are they going to do with that acreage, and storage tanks, when 100% of _new_ vehicles sold will be EV's around 2030?

Well, assuming that does happen an average car stays on the street from 12-18 years... so it's a loooooong time away.

So the permit for the Buc-ees in Texas City has been removed? Does that mean a SC is no longer happening there? With the recent issues at the Webster SC it is becoming important to have another Supercharger site within SE Houston.

Texas City never had a permit, I think it was a typo.

except they have way more gas pumps than chargers so switch over may be a pita.... (we stop at thhe one near Florence, SC a fair amount)

Florence is great (and for our dogs too) and much better than the 2 on Fl's East Coast
