Tesla parts catalog- how to get prices?

Asking here because it seems like a place where people actually work on their cars...

I was watching a Rich Rebuilds video recently, and their EPC access showed prices. Mine does not, and I have to call Tesla to know what a part costs.

Anyone know what it takes to see the prices?

This is about 65% a guess but IIRC Rich is in MA where there's an explicit right to repair law... I vaguely recall EPC access for folks in MA is slightly better/different as a result, so that might be it

Interesting... These are parts prices Tesla will give you over the phone, so I never considered that could be the root cause. That's super petty of Tesla if they force you to call their overwhelmed service centers and waste the time of both you and Tesla instead of giving you the price on EPC, when they already are giving you the catalog, just because you're not in MA.

Also, this video was filmed at Electrified Garage, and none of those are in MA.

Maybe time for a VPN....

Don't think it's due to being in MA. Tesla sells toolbox and service shops can order parts if they buy that toolbox..This is just my guess
