Tesla providing free options through end of month?

I read the article below and didn't believe it, but spoke with a guy at Tesla today. You can essentially get 2 free options if you take delivery of a car in inventory. For example, on the model S, you can get a $1500 paint upgrade (from white) and a $4500 wheel upgrade, for a total savings of $6k! Anybody else have any intel on this?

It's the end of the third quarter of the year. They almost always do something at the end of a quarter to increase sales.
