It's now $5900 base-price instead of $5500 per 13.5 kWh battery for new orders. Not sure what date that cut-over is.

Maybe TE can't sustain being an extreme loss-leader on this as much anymore.

Hey hey... got my order in 2 weeks ago at the lower price....

If you check the prices, the PW2 is still 1/3 the price of their competitors. $400 did not change that.

Also, one thing that companies don't do... make grand announcements about price hikes...
