If I apply for a loan through a credit union (1.99% rate) and have Tesla rate match, will Tesla do a hard credit inquiry as well?

Not if you do it within two weeks of each other

There is actually an even lower rate of 1.86% if you live in California. You have to get the rate first, then Tesla will attempt to match something close, is my understanding.

Mind sharing which CU is giving 1.99%.....i got 2.14% from PenFed...I still have almost 2 weeks before delivery
