This is at least the sixth time in less than two weeks that you have posted your referral code to this thread. Is that really necessary?
Andy, unfortunately he does NOT care. He has been a member of TMC for less than 2 months. As of today, he has 36 posts, 35 of which are in this referral thread, which about 28 of his posts were only listing his referral code, contributing nothing to TMC.

I'm not certain, but I think there may have been a decision made that this was the one thread where it was allowed. Even so, I have never posted my referral code.
Assuming it is allowed, I have no problem with others doing it, within reason. But the poster I called out was, in my opinion, over-the-top! As @NJ Plugin pointed out, apparently that is all he or she is here for.

Yes - I ordered my Model S 90D to replace my 2014 Model S85. I was going to use someone else's referral code to help them reach the Powerwall 2 but then I was told by my OA that I could use my own, which I did.

Confirmed that you can buy with your own code. I had a friend's referral code with me, but when I ordered my last Tesla the OA just entered my code automatically without even asking.
