Hi all,

I've been scouring the internet for a short-term Tesla rental in the Seattle area. I've been a fan of all things electric (and especially Tesla) for years, and have suffered through dealer pitches in return for test drives of the Leaf, Volt, Focus Electric, etc. It's about time I experience the real thing.

That said, I'm mainly hoping to surprise my girlfriend (another fan) with a day trip for her birthday. I'm happy to pay, I just can't afford the $500 a day some rental companies are asking (I'm a law student at the University of Washington). I've also had no luck with RelayRides etc.

Would anyone be willing to rent out a Model S for a Saturday or Sunday some time this summer?

Any other suggestions would be welcome as well!
