This is from the Oregonian newspaper (local paper in Portland, OR). The editor of the car section and a colleague did a roadtrip from Portland to Seattle in a Tesla P85 and posted a ton of video and an impressively positive (or as we Tesla fans would say "about accurate") review of the Model S.
    Some quotes:
"The Tesla Model S is the only piece of machinery, a car, computer, anything, that I've ever used that has lived up to the hype 100%"
"The acceleration is ridiculous, I've never driven a car that accelerates that fast, and from any speed. There is no gathering of power. No delay. It's just power."
His major complaints: price. quality of voice recognition. placement of the cup holders. :)

The video recaps are now all posted in chronological order along with a poll:

"The Tesla Model S's price tag ($62,000 to $103,000) brakes most electric car buyers for going any further. At what price point would you consider buying one?"

options from "I own one..." to "I'm not sold on the elcetric-car future."
