having made several 1000 mile trips recently, I realize I need help planning help.

1- super chargers placement often adds 5 to 30 miles to my journey.
2- some legs require charging start At 50 % , some at 14%
3- I know the charge rate varies with state of charge - but if this were solely due to protecting the battery and heat, then a lower capacity charger would have a different charge rate change than a supercharger.
4- charging while eating is found travel time.

Let me explain. 50% capacity battery supercharger is already slower than max rate. And it decreases charge rate logarithmically. 80 amp HPWC is charging much slower so as far as protecting the battery and heat, it does not need to ramp back rate until much higher charge state.

So today my choice is : supercharger, 28 more miles arrive at 50%. Evtripping says I need 30 minutes to make my next stop arrival at 14%. ( food nearby garbage). Alternatively stop for lunch at waterfront dining with HPWC, save 30 minutes, but charge how long?

One other factor. Finding charger parking lot search time. Need better notes.
