Advertised as a late 2016 but AP1? That’s nonsense - or at least grossly misleading — as was the 2016/2017 reference. I’m guessing this was not a real listing.

There were plenty of late 2016 cars that got AP1 instead of AP2. My business partner had a fully loaded P100D that got AP1 installed on it. Needless to say he was a bit pissed off he missed AP2 by "a few weeks".

It's an AP1, I never meant to advertised it to be AP2 just on the original posting mentioning that 2017 front facelift face, not the previous style.. We bought it in October and yes missed out on AP2, we didn't know it was coming out. We are just upgrading to the X cause my wife wants an SUV for our baby.

Anyways, reposting, financial of the buyer didn't go through the last transaction after we gave him 2 chances, long story. Decided to just use a reputable, local dealership to handle this transaction to simplify the process for both sides and streamline the process hence price has increased for fees charged by 3rd party. It's a lease buy out situation, the dealership will take care of the paperwork and financing side, they have bank connections if you need one, so we avoid the drama again. Double taxation is also avoided with dealership process. The dealership then will provide the temporary registration once your financing has been approved or payment cleared, you can drive the car right away.
