Tesla "S3" vehicle mention???

Hi all,

"S3" is an internal Tesla designation to reference the 85kWh battery. (S3 = Model S 300 miles) We are working to update the ARB website to reference Model S 85kWh. Eventually, Model S 60 and 40kWh will be added to the ARB site.

Well, mystery solved. But kinda a letdown... thought I'd stumbled onto something really new! :)

Hey, now - the Model S is still really new. At least give us a couple months before you call our shiny new cars outdated please. ;)
