When I took delivery of our 3 year old CPO MS70D I pointed out that some damage to the paint of the nearside rear door was much worse than shown in the preview photos provided by Tesla.
West Drayton SC, where I collected the car from, agreed and a few weeks later the door was repainted by their paint shop.
Unfortunately, it's quite apparent that the door doesn't have the same shine as surrounding original paintwork - it's almost satin rather than glossy. I cleaned the car at the weekend and this is when the contrast really shows as the rest of the paint has a really good shine, reflecting surrounding details nicely.
I'm just not sure if this is what one should expect with paint repairs or if I should press Tesla to do a better job?
The colour is Triple-coat red.
