Not sure - but it was made out to be something new on one of the investor's boards.

Seems like Tesla had a gag order on suppliers until this month. This screen and the backup camera supplier announcements both came recently.

Or maybe the companies were waiting for the Tesla halo of good reviews to jump on board.
