Can we assume that 200MW/h battery in such a small probably light car implies a significantly improved/different battery?

I'd say no, it's just less seat/cargo space

Well it doesn't come out for another 1.5+ years so they use 2170 cells from 2019 with better density than the 2017 style cells in the Model 3.

They also cram them into a similar sized car with less rear seat passenger space and likely a smaller trunk.

I wouldn't put anyone over 5'2" in the rear seat.
