[Moderator note (bmah): Removed the word "silver" from the thread title, as it was...well...wrong.]

Did anybody see it? Looks like Carbon Fiber

Looks good and perhaps will hide scratches that naturally occur in cup holders and sliding door (my 2 yr x shows).

Here is the email I received for the Black/Wood option -- silver trim moving to graphite.

Looks to me like the trim around the main screen, doors and cup holders are the graphite colour. The Model S and Model X I have been in have all been a brighter silver in those areas.

That's darker than I expected. I was thinking it was going to be more along the lines of gunmetal.

I kind of want to see it in person but my Tesla guy said the door handles were going to remain silver for easy identification? Not sure it’s true but he said an internal memo went out this morning.

It’s a little like Star Trek. They end up on a different planet, fighting the same people, but they are wearing different hats.

The difference is that all the currently silver trim around the display, air vents, cup holders etc is now going to be graphite grey coloured. I think it looks cool, especially with the carbon trim option (which isn't new) as shown in the photo.

Received the email too. It's going to look real good with my black premium carbon fiber interior.

You can really see it on the bottom of the MCU and the glove box button. It looks good to me, but you know some people are going to have melt downs over this. ;)

And here is the one I got for the new Cream/Oak Interior....."We wanted to let you know that your Model X order has been upgraded. The Cream Interior in your car will now be paired with our new Oak Décor to complement its refined, modern aesthetic. In addition, the silver interior trim throughout your cabin has been updated with our new graphite finish."

"Since your Model X was configured before we introduced this interior update, your order has already been upgraded and there is no action required on your end."

I actually like it better than the silver.

Yikes, that looks terrible. The graphite looks great with the black/carbon trim.

That actually looks better on the cream interior than I thought it would.

I would love to retrofit that graphite trim. My wife complains about the glare from the current silver trim.
