Tesla sent an email about new interior trim

Looks good and perhaps will hide scratches that naturally occur in cup holders and sliding door (my 2 yr x shows).

That's darker than I expected. I was thinking it was going to be more along the lines of gunmetal.
I kind of want to see it in person but my Tesla guy said the door handles were going to remain silver for easy identification? Not sure it’s true but he said an internal memo went out this morning.

It’s a little like Star Trek. They end up on a different planet, fighting the same people, but they are wearing different hats.
The difference is that all the currently silver trim around the display, air vents, cup holders etc is now going to be graphite grey coloured. I think it looks cool, especially with the carbon trim option (which isn't new) as shown in the photo.

Received the email too. It's going to look real good with my black premium carbon fiber interior.

You can really see it on the bottom of the MCU and the glove box button. It looks good to me, but you know some people are going to have melt downs over this. 
And here is the one I got for the new Cream/Oak Interior....."We wanted to let you know that your Model X order has been upgraded. Yikes, that looks terrible. The graphite looks great with the black/carbon trim.

I would love to retrofit that graphite trim. My wife complains about the glare from the current silver trim.
