”I’m not saying Tesla doesn’t have issues. But don’t pretend the others are perfect.
A month ago I tried to get my gas car in for service at 4 different locations. All had at least a 2 to 3 week wait. And a loaner? forget about it.

X country trip in the heartland, walking back to the SuC from a store.
There in front of me was a brand new MB EQS 580 with all the options.
Turned out it was a loaner and had just come off the truck the day before.
Driver had his MB 550 S in for service, did not have any idea what he had!
Once I told him all I knew about the EQS, he was eager to trade his old car in.

More likely it’s a brass hat car owned by corporate being used to showcase. No dealer is throwing a fully loaded 580 into loaner out of their own allocation.

In this case, not at all true. I took some time to talk to the drivers. Doctors from India. I have an MB 560, and know for a fact this guy had a 550.
This was in the middle of nowhere in CO.

I should rephrase that. MBUSA owns the car but is lending it to the dealer to raise awareness of the car.
