And it gets worse….

The Nambe location isn’t setup for deliveries after all. Even after directly asking my rep when my car would arrive and him still giving a time frame it was never going to come. My car is in limbo somewhere in Colorado for some reason and nobody knows exactly where or exactly when it would even show up. Had my delivery location changed to Littleton and in hindsight should have never changed it.

I will say the Santa Fe people have been the most helpful, the Littleton people have at least tried, my direct rep is the opposite of useful and that’s putting it nice.

Extremely frustrated.
Bummer news Fleg...I wish you a speedy resolution to getting your ride. Are you driving up (to pickup) or one-way flight and drive back?

On a semi-related note, the Mrs. and I drove up to Nambe on Saturday to check out the place, the two sales staff were very courteous and helpful in assisting the walk-ins/test drive reservations. No supercharging there but they have wall connectors in back (around 6-8, I think), they allowed me to plug in while we were hanging out.

Could you move your delivery to Colorado Springs? That could save you a couple hours of driving.

Well, given that my delivery window opens in 2 days (now officially chomping at the bit) I think I’ll just be driving to Colorado Springs rather than mess with this. I’m sorry to hear about the issues you’re having. Seems totally crazy that they’d initiate the call you to switch and then just screw ya. Why on earth would you do something like that. Has to be a process/communication issue inside the company. I’m hoping that the after sale customer service is better than pre sales…. Best of luck Fleg…

I know this is slightly off subject now as I'm no longer getting my car delivered to Santa Fe but I finally have a pick up date/time in Littleton, CO next week. We are going to fly and drive back so that is why we picked the Denver location over Colorado Springs. The Santa Fe location have been extremely helpful and I'm glad we have them as a somewhat local resorce. If it wasn't for them, I don't know if we would have ever found out what was going on with my Model 3.

Light at the end of the tunnel hopefully....

FYI, looks like things may have changed - just received an uninitiated text update that my next delivery will be picked up in Nambe/Santa Fe (instead of Colorado Springs).

EDD of Jan-Feb so this is pretty cool news for weather flexibility.

I got the same text today. I might have them keep it in CoS though since that would, oddly, likely be more convenient for me. My EDD is currently Dec 5 - 31 so I guess I have some time to find someone to give me a ride up there though :)

Was thinking of you when I got the text…. Already have an email into my SA…. I’d love to do it but not if my car goes into never never land like yours did…. How the new ride?
Still really happy with it. I do still need to contact Car Crafters to have some damage repaired that I assume came from all the extra shipping my car went on but no other issues.

I take the rail-runner or get a ride to Santa Fe. From there you have the option of Uber(etc), or bus to Cities of Gold.

I find it convenient to take the bus from SF (schedule permitting) and then to scooter to the Nambe Tesla but you could also Uber(etc) from there

digitaldad mentioned this thread to me so I thought I would jump in with my $.02 worth. Last June my MYP was sent to Colo Springs and I had them ship it here for the $750 charge. I was lucky as every thing arrived OK with just minor problems. It got here on a Sunday which happened to be Father's Day Nice surprise for me.

I had been looking for some kind of option for a performance boost in the MYP, and found one. I ordered a new Plaid yesterday. My EDD right now is JAN - FEB, but I am sure that will be changing. They have my delivery location as Colorado Springs, as I had no other option. I really am hoping that will change to Santa Fe as I might be able to hitch a ride to get there.

It weird but it seem ABQ addresses are still pushing to COS, not SFNM…. Makes ZERO sense but thats just how Tesla rolls…. You might get a text moving it once they get it figured out. Could be a capacity thing at Nambe as well. Who really knows! Enjoy the Plaid man!

About 15 miles if you get off at the south capitol station on Alta Vist Rd.
Sounds right, but if you are taking Uber/etc from the train to Tesla Nambe then take the train to the end of the line -- Santa Fe Depot. Saves some time and money. And by the way, Uber does not have Tesla Nambe in its database yet but it does have Buffalo Thunder Casino
