Tesla Showrooms completely empty

Anyone noticed this? Walked into two showrooms in the Bay Area and they were completely empty. No vehicles on display, none available for test drives.

Is this related to the mass availability of demo vehicles for sale earlier this week?

My guess is they want to cash out all these vehicles by end of Q3, but I’m surprised they’re even selling showroom cars.

When every car counts to make a record, you sell whatever you got on the ground and replace them later. To be expected at the end of every quarter in my opinion. Has this not happened in the past?
It happens at the end of every quarter.

That being said, they haven’t had a Model S or X available in the showrooms or for test drives for the last 8 months.
