Yesterday was so incredibly nice I decided to detail the Tesla. While detailing, I had a cool concept and finally took the car out for a photo shoot.

Image is attached. Let me know what you guys think.

    Cheers,

Nice pic, with the sun and wind turbines in the background. Any technical details on the photo?

    Sure thing. Here you go:

Location: National Renewable Energy Laboratory. Boulder, CO.
    Time: 5:47:51PM MST
    Camera: Hasselblad H3Dii-50 MFD.
    Lens: 28mm HCD
    Aperture: f/22
    Shutter: 1/3 sec

Sunburst as well as reflected burst on Tesla are natural effects due to shooting at f/22. RAW developed in Phocus. Final color correction done with Viveza 2 via Photoshop CS4.

    Cheers,
    James

    Very nice.

Best since the Yosemite batch from Bill. If he had shot RAW they would have been unstoppable.

    Your reflection is in bumper.

Thanks for all the kind words everyone! The Tesla is a very inspiring subject. Much more than just a cool car.

You should sell that photo (maybe with the reflection in the bumper photoshopped out).

Ha, I had just watched that video when it came out. Why Adobe stays on top.

I was hoping you would be sending us to a site on Flickr etc. that compiles photos that inadvertently shows reflections of photographers. The most famous being the Ebay guy in his underwear in the teapot reflection.

Great photo! It is a cool way to inform the layperson how clean energy sources can power the vehicle.

IIRC, he was famous for the absence of underwear.
