It’s a slow and steady process, but other automakers have no process. The Supercharger network is arguably a primary reason many EV shoppers buy a Tesla vehicle. It’s not the only reason, of course, but we can tell you that every time a new compelling electric car comes along, one of the first comments people...

It does not appear that they are complete in adding all the upcoming stations.

For example, the new supercharger at the Fallon shopping center in Dublin, CA is not listed. And they have already installed the power cabinets and should have the charging stands installed in the next few days.

With Fallon and the Outlet Mall Supercharger location on the other side of the I-580 there will be 34 supercharger stands at one highway exit.

Over the years we have exhausted the debate concerning planned Superchargers and opened Superchargers. These maps by Tesla are purely aspirational. Whoever maintains this database will do a "find 2019" and replace with "2020" sometime next January.

There will always be the ones that are omitted on these maps that suddenly pop up. The reasons are many.

We should just be thankful that Tesla is thinking about new locations. But we should not be so quick to assume that they will be built within their optimistic timeline.

There seems to be a lot activity across the state in the California Supercharger forum. California Supercharger locations

Of course not as much in the Central Valley. But being from Fresno, that does not surprise me.

While the supercharger network is massive and an amazing undertaking and system, the map cannot be relied on with regards to "pending" or "coming soon" or "target" dates, only what actually is opened. Tesla will list a location as coming soon and with a season and year listed, and simply at the end of each season/year, change the year to the next year.

For example: Calabasas, CA lists "Coming Soon" and "Target opening in 2019", however, in 2017 it listed 2017, in 2018 it listed Summer 2018 then changed to Fall 2018, before being changed to "Target opening in 2019". Many many other locations have had the same thing, for example, Santa Barbara, Westwood, Beverly Hills, Simi Valley, venice, Sherman Oaks, etc, etc.

And as reported in a SoCal supercharger thread, for example, for the Calabasas location (similarly to other So.Cal locations), the supercharger equipment was delivered and actually at in dozens of boxes behind the Ralphs shopping center (in the delivery area) at which they were to be installed, and after being there a year (with the boxes falling apart), Tesla let the installation permit expire and then removed the equipment. Supercharger - Calabasas CA (NOT BUILT, Tesla crates arrived Jan 2018 and removed May 2019)

It seems Tesla has stopped the roll-out of many of the listed urban supercharging locations. Some big, media attention locations, like the new location in Las Vegas have been completed, but the map as to "Target opening" or "coming soon", especially for city/urban locations, are mostly false listings. Maybe due to cash issues?
