Many of the locations awaiting pedestals already have utility transformers, so there may be a flurry of openings once the pedestal log jam breaks free.

Here is an update on the status of the North American "Coming Soon" superchargers targeted to open in 2019. About 12 sites opened in the U.S. and Canada in the last month for a total of 109 so far in 2019. Drove past the Idaho springs, co location and construction is well under way. Concrete footings for all the pedestals have been installed.
My single largest complaint about the sites currently under construction is that Tesla has chosen to simultaneously work on North Bend, WA & North Bay, ON and Maple Shade, NJ & Maple Creek, SK. Going through my alerts I keep getting confused as to why there are repeated listings when people have commented in both threads. 
Here is an update on the status of the North American "Coming Soon" superchargers targeted to open in 2019. About 20 sites opened in the U.S. and Canada in the last month for a total of 146 so far in 2019. If you add in the 180 unopened sites in the main list (though many are not "Coming Soon" on the Tesla Find Us map) and the 319 Coming Soon sites for which no information has been found, they will have opened about 1/4 of the planned ones by the end of the year.

rate spiked to 800mi/hr but then came back to only 182 mi/hr
car was warm and had driven 25 miles on way to charger. although i put it in as a destination i don’t recall it preconditioning, maybe because it was over 10-20 miles away when i input.
12 stalls. only one was taken when i came. but we parked 5 stalls away from each other. but i also thought that V2/3 doesn’t matter if you’re parked next to someone.
he left and rate dropped more as i approached 240 miles. i’m charging to max/trip so expected the rate to fall as i approach 250/260 ‘daily’ charge limit.

Tough to understand as I live in a "percentage of battery" world instead of a "miles" based world.
@Boomer19 Also, charge rates described in mi/hr are mostly useless for comparison with the experience of others because different car models will show different "speeds" even when actually charging at the same power. This happens because they have different efficiencies in energy use. So, mi/hr is fine if you're trying to get a feel for it on your own, but when you want to see/talk about charging rates with others you should always use the kilowatts (kW) datum. One has to accept the fact that Porsche Taycan has a faster charging battery tech than Tesla S or 3. The fact that Taycan is inefficient is a different issue that nullifies the advantage of faster charging.

But in the context of @Boomer19's question, they was asking whether a Tesla V3 charger was performing as well for other Tesla owners. To answer that question, one has to compare actual power, not miles per hour charged. When comparing how long someone in any car has to charge as a function of travel time, comparing miles per hour is the best metric. The questions are entirely different.
Lauding Porsche's battery charging technology is absolutely fine, if the question is constrained to the technology and has nothing to do with travel or charging times.

but i guess i’ll give that fairfield charger another whirl at some point and hope to get my 20-80% fill up a lot quicker than yesterday. just thought it was peculiar that it wasn’t much faster with nobody else around taxing the load (even though it’s supposedly less a factor on V3)

Even if your car battery is sufficiently warm, I believe outdoor temperatures still affect Supercharging rates. It's winter in the Northern Hemisphere now, and the only documented case of an SR+ hitting 170 kWh I've seen since the launch of 2019.40 was from an Aussie, where it's summer.
