Tesla Trade-in Program

Hey everyone,

quick question i have about trading in a used tesla for a new one.

i knew they had a program at some point to trade in your old model for a new one after some time, but i do not remember how the program worked, nor do i know if they still have one.

can anyone chime in and help?

Are you thinking of the original buy-back guarantee?

They will happily let you trade in your old one and sell you a new one. No different then trading in any other car though as far as I know.

yes more or less. i'll see if i cant get a face to face with someone. i figured in a few years when everything has literally changed completely on the car, itd be nice to know the numbers

I did better trading it in at another type of dealer (when my wife wanted an Audi they gave me $8k more than Tesla did).

Also, check CarMax.

Tesla is notoriously cheap on the trade in value.
