Bought the wife a Model 3 in April. Just hit 10k miles. Most amazing vehicle we ever owned. Problem is I'm stuck driving her old ICE to save on gas costs. Since purchasing the Tesla and me getting better mpg by parking my truck and driving her Mini Cooper we're saving about $400 a month even after the Tesla payment.

I want a Tesla now but I really need a truck capability. I'm super stoked for the Tesla Truck and it cannot come soon enough. I'm limping along my old junky ICE truck to save for it but maintenance on a 15 year old truck is insane. Although I need a bed more often than I need towing capacity it will be nice having great gas mileage all the time and towing ability on rare occasion.

Mini is debuting their electric Mini soon and recently posted this a video showing the Mini towing 150 tons, so the truck will have no issue with Elon's claims

I wonder how mad Ford will be when F-Series is no longer best selling truck

If cash was not much of an issue buy a used Model X for like $60+K and a trailer. Some folks spend more than $60K on a model 3. There are at least 2 for sale at close to that: https://www.cars.com/for-sale/searchresults.action/?mdId=21661&mkId=28263&page=1&perPage=20&rd=99999&searchSource=SORT&shippable-dealers-checkbox=true&sort=price-lowest&zc=80302&localVehicles=false

I myself needed a truck functionality for many years, but always opted to buy a fun vehicle with a trailer, like Infinity FX35 and now Model X.
