NYC pension funds to divest fossil fuels
"Two of the five pension funds in the New York City Retirement Systems will divest an estimated $4 billion in securities related to fossil fuel companies, city officials said Monday.
Boards of the $77.4 billion New York City Employees' Retirement System and the $91.4 billion New York City Teachers' Retirement System voted Monday to approve divestment. They represent the largest pension funds within the $239.8 billion system.
A third pension fund, the $7.8 billion New York City Board of Education Retirement System, is expected to vote soon for divestment."

Just heared on CNN that part of Bidens economic plan is to replace government vehicles by USA made electric ones.
Not a huge fan of this. The anti-clean energy people always claim that there's some kind of monetary value to be gained for going green. Now they can specifically point to elected officials pushing green energy for monetary gains. Way to go against the mission when half the country thinks green energy is full of crap.
Wednesday’s earnings report would be a good time to announce another stock split.

Same here, today alone my TSLA holding increased by over 4 times my total initial investment! I know its only on paper and the same happens in the other direction as well, but it just never gets old.

The federal government owns or leases 254,059 vehicles, excluding the military and Postal Service (2012)
I highly doubt that they would replace 254,000 vehicles in one year. I would suspect it would be a 10 year transition
