I love how the S interior is clearly geared toward not driving. Emphasis put on the powerful gaming capabilities and essentially shifting from an all-in-one screen to a while-driving screen and an entertainment-while-the-car-drives screen.

Like the idea of a pivoting center screen. Will definitely pull one from a wrecked Model S for my EV Wrangler TJ build.

Where did you get pivoting from?

Looks like the turn signals are activated via the steering wheel touch surface... will be interesting to see how those buttons work. Haptic feedback maybe?

From a photo, it looks like there are round up/down buttons to the left of the left scroll wheel. They appear to be flush, not physical buttons

Not a fan of steering wheel, but I'd get used to it.
What if the wheel is operated like an aircraft? I think I'd like it but something tells me that's dangerous on power loss, unless they figured that out already. Or does both, choose your method, lol.

Clearly I've found a source of the Tesla inspired steering wheel on the Model S.

So 1,000,000 vehicle current production capacity. Methinks that this is a big deal,

The 1,050,000 production capacity needs to be multiplied by about 0.85 to get actual production (this takes into account line down time).

So current production is at a rate of about 900,000 / year. This definitely puts 1,000,000 production for 2021 within reach.

Has there always been a Plaid and Plaid+? Asking because "Plaid" shows March delivery with Plaid+ late 2021.
View attachment 631254

Range and Availability of the Plaid compared to the Plaid+ is perhaps an indicator that Plaid+ is the one that's going to have the 4680s.

Plaid : 390mi - available March
Plaid+: 520 mi - Available late 2021
