Just imagine it pressurized to 10,000 PSI....The Hindenberg was enough to convince me that using hydrogen to fuel cars isn't a great idea.

I'm really hoping that battery investor day reveals improvements in charging time that finally put to rest concerns that EVs take too long to charge and therefore impractical. That could be a catalyst for further stock appreciation, and one less vector for FUD.
Personally, I don't think it is an issue with v3 superchargers, but it is a common perception.
I agree that with V3 SCs combined with large battery packs (greater than 300 mile range) and lots of SC locations that aren’t crowded, long distance drives in an EV are no longer an issue. But you need all four conditions. I just did a 6-7 hour trip each way. On the uphill leg, either more SC locations or a bigger battery would have made it no compromise. As it was, charging added about 20 minutes to my trip. On the downhill leg, no difference from what an ICE would have done (I only needed one stop which I would have done anyways).
I know everyone here already knows this but Tesla has a very strong competitive moat with its SC network and big battery packs. And I don’t see that moat being breached for many years, at least in the US. I still think it’s an important reason why people buy Tesla rather than all the “Tesla killers”.
It's difficult to not watch the ticker and enjoy my vacation instead but just saw this guy. Puerto Aventuras Mexico.

It’s reasonable to predict that pursuant to the Phase One trade deal, China’s imports of US vehicles will increase from the roughly $10 billion exported in the baseline year to $20 billion in 2020 and more in 2021.
Tesla is the only company exporting EVs from the United States to China, and the Chinese government strongly prefers EVs. It stands to reason that as China ensures it meets its Phase One thresholds, Teslas will perform better than the German and Ford ICE SUVs that constitute the past majority of US vehicle exports.
For example, according to Tesla China’s incentives page, every Tesla is exempt from Chinese vehicle purchase and registration taxes. Last June, China announced that it was removing license plate quotes for EVs only. Beijing reportedly had about 3 million people on its license plate waiting list.
Tesla vehicles made in Tesla’s Gigafactory 3 in Shanghai would not count toward the Phase One trade deal purchase thresholds, so this import surge would presumably be directed to the Model X and S made in Fremont. The Ford Mach-E Mustang will be built in Mexico, so it too will not be eligible to count toward the trade thresholds.

“Deep in dept, selling less than 400,000 vehicles last year and challenged by several competing electric car models in 2020, Tesla’s stock valuation stunningly exceeds VW which sold over 10 million vehicles last year,” Nader added in a follow-up tweet. “Watch out, Tesla believers."
For anyone who tries to claim GF3 doesn't stamp body parts
Tesla destroys recent China FUD by releasing video of Gigafactory 3's stamping press
It is probably on Tesla China's Weibo accountWhere did Jay get these videos from? Not that I doubt him, as he has great detail about Tesla China, but really, where?
Wouldn't Tesla release these on their youtube? Or did he get them on the sly?
Is it really possible to bankrupt a MM? I thought they had access to all the free borrowed shares they want, or something like that.Of course, these are the sellers who do not own the stock they sell.
I have a hunch that The Tesla Squeeze will bankrupt a few big big hedges and banks and MMs and cause a general recession.
Not to mention a country or few...
Cry me a river.
Hyundaiberg or perhaps a Hondaberg, anyone?Just imagine it pressurized to 10,000 PSI....
The only appropriate modern response to this is:Tesla will mark the beginning of the end for this bull market, warns Ralph Nader
Ralph Nader telling us that Tesla's current share price is a sign of the stock market apocalypse.
