Their Z80 Softcard for the Apple II introduced in the late 70's was quite successful in to the 80's

Their mouse and peripheral division produced some very popular products in the 90's

Their current Surface stuff is doing pretty well.

Not to mention a little gadget called the Xbox.

Original Xbox was successful.
Xbox 360 was an improvement.
Xbox One was a disaster from a development POV. They took all the wonderful, working tools from the 360 and threw them out the window. Further, the specs were underwhelming (until the One X) causing them to lose market share to the PS4.

Tesla Universal Supercharger

SC V3 adapts the Supercharger network by adding CCS, so that any electric car can use it. (Billing required of course)
Honestly, I hope that's not the case. I know Tesla's goal is to advance sustainable transport, but if they want to include other cars to charge, they better be paying a hefty upfront fee, because Tesla took the risk of investing large amounts in charging infrastructure.
