"Just finished our model," Wood said.

A new blog post will be issued soon from Ark Funds with the new price target: "Stay tuned," she teased.
ARK bought 23,320 shares today for ARKW.

Fiat Chrysler spent EUR 300 million on green credits mostly from Tesla (cnbc.com)

So this pretty much squashes that theory that Tesla, by pooling with Fiat, was not able to accept credits from other Euro auto makers. There's no way Tesla racked up the amount of money they did in 2020 without getting credits from other Euro auto makers. That theory was always FUD.....now it's just clearly FUD. Based on what Zach said on the conference call, a overwhelming majority of the auto makers are choosing to do a quarter to quarter payment with Tesla instead of doing a multi year deal. Probably because they don't want it to be public as to how much they're paying Tesla.

Also, they're saying in 2021 the amount of credits they'll pay out will only be slightly less than 2020 so it's not like Tesla has to worry about 2020 credit revenue dropping significantly. Another FUD theory squashed........Which btw I think they're straight up lying about how much they expect to pay in credits in 2021. I've pointed out before but the notion that any Euro automaker is going to be able to ramp up volumes easily this year will be muted by battery cell/pack supply. They'll simply end up paying more, especially in the 2nd half of 2021 and tell their shareholders "We just couldn't get enough batter supply to fulfill enough of the requirements"

There are no EU "credits." You reduce your CO2 numbers by pooling with other automakers. And therefore reduce your fines. You can't buy "EU credits quarter by quarter" these are EU rules not "FUD."

Tesla has credits to sell in USA, China and Canada as well. Don't know if the actual market for selling credits in China has commenced. But European automakers can buy Tesla credits outside of Europe.

You can use the term credits or whatever you want. It doesn't change what I was saying. The FUD was that Tesla was limited by only taking working with the ones in their "pool". That's proven to be false. The only market that could explain the increase in Tesla's credit in 2020 is the European one and it would have to be from more than just Fiat's contribution.

In Europe the only ones you can work with is automakers in your pool. This is EU regulations.
