So scrapping the $25k car and comments about hvac as being some day, makes me think that a very large portion of their R&D is now focused on Optimus.
It shot to 970 off the safely >50% growth comment.

Such great numbers. The company is growing 50% / year, but profit is growing 100% / year. Incredible...

it seems his robots have a higher priority....in these costly times, foolhardy to build a $25K....they couldn't support it either given the current infrastructure.
Oh no, they are not making a cheaper car with crappy margins to dilute the brand..oh nooo.
I would like this product once Tesla's higher range cars are saturated...but we have Cybertruck, roadster, and Semi still on the horizon.
He said it wouldn't ship until next year, so that should squash any rumors about it coming this year
Stock just dropped 10$ on the quality of these questions, HVAC, FSD license lol.

Love it. I'm of the opinion anything lower than 3/Y should be left to everyone else.
Tesla's primary mission is to force everyone to convert to EV production. They've essentially done that already. Best to leave the ENTIRE low margin market for everyone else to fill.
I'd like to see the Y be the #1 car in the world and then be overtaken by a high quality EV Corolla.

Dojo will "do something" by this summer, but maybe will be better than existing GPU clusters next year.
