"High traffic" during their hours of operation? I lived south of SF some years ago and used to visit. The city seems to sleep early.Interesting. If you compare the detail on the two maps you find areas that used to be covered(*) that are not any more, and if I'm remembering the layout of San Francisco correctly some of them are near Market St and Golden Gate Park, definitely high traffic areas.
Has there been any update to this? I tried google and found nothing.Tesla is in hot water with California DMV over its Autopilot and self-driving claims
Tesla is in hot water with California DMV over its Autopilot and self-driving claims, which the agency believes are deceptive....electrek.co
California DMV very much cares about FSD because they have started legal proceedings over it.
They labor under the illusion that their piles of patents offer them some competitive advantage. Not sure why this needs to be Tesla’s burden by themselves. Pretty sure GM / Ford’s patents are not very valuable to Tesla.
Option? Thought this was the new standard for 3 and Y. Not seeing an option on the configurator.New suspension option for Model Y
Thant's good news, now the same 5 guys in the Y forum can stop complaining daily.
That the beta has moved from being based on 2022.20 to 2022.36 is the important news here. Good to see!
Here is the 2 minutes clip on that from the 3 hour interview.… the Lex/Karpathy marathon interview. Andrej was giving Elon credit for something that many take for granted around here - his ability to run an extremely efficient organization (aka "tight ship"). But somehow he does this at scale. If you've ever worked at a large company, you know how much bloat and soul robbing processes/red tape exists. Elon has found a recipe to massively scale the "skunk works" spirit.
IMO part of the formula is focus on the end product, people enjoy doing quality work, people like being results oriented. While many people are complaining about Elon (Twitter, selling TSLA, political, etc.), I keep seeing more things he does that I'm grateful for....
Like after watching the Lex/Karpathy marathon interview. I don't know of any ~Trillion dollar companies that have scaled as well as Tesla has. They still trim fat on occasion, but that's exactly the point. If it can be bottled, this recipe is priceless IMO.
Not here it is not.
LOL, 10 minutes later an update alert came thru! Not here it is not.
What the hell is an external customer in this context?
Shipping? really?

That's showing a battery that's only 3/4 full. The 93 miles is a calculated number based on the recent past. This is showing the current expected range of 93 miles or 109 if you drive really slow. So we are talking about 124 miles of total range for a full battery in recent conditions (93/0.75).Don't know if this is true, but I've read the entire trunk is full of hardware for compute. That's not a great sign for efficiency.
This 109mi max range isn't great, either.

You don't know about them because they don't exist. While many people are complaining about Elon (Twitter, selling TSLA, political, etc.), I keep seeing more things he does that I'm grateful for....
