You clearly did not see the very first line under “Smart Summon” in the release notes.

I can post "live" CAN bus data from "follow me" ( when it worked ) if you want to see the car following Bluetooth strength data if you like.

Didn’t know you could determine position with Bluetooth. Maybe distance but even that wouldn’t be all that accurate as I don’t believe there is any TOF used. While I’m sure there is some info being passed through BT, it cannot precisely know which direction to go.
Btw, I’m not new to the forum as you can see. Just don’t reply much unlike you with 10,000+ messages in a year or so. I used Enhanced Summon quite a bit the last few months and provided much feedback to Tesla. Have had my car for over a year now and absolutely love it.

Don’t even know what that is or how to do it. Just doesn’t make sense. You could be the same distance behind your car as in front of your car and Bluetooth wouldn’t know the difference.
You’re obviously an expert at everything Tesla so I will leave you alone.

TeslaFI has continued to show new installs throughout the day, mostly 3s getting 10.1 with a continuous trickle of S/X getting 10.2.

Do the opposite and get summon "come to me" to work.

No one is arguing that BT is not required for summon - it is. You, on the other hand, state "phone does not use GPS" - go, give it try

HA!!! I downloaded and installed the latest Windows updates on my desktop and voila, I got the V10 update on my P3D+.

(No, I don't think the two are in any way related - just coincidental)
