Tesla V10 software update rollout: post here if you are still waiting

I just picked up my Model 3 LR AWD FSD today, brand new. Still on V9, 2019.27.103. I feel like this is at least one update behind. Connected it to WiFi and it says it's up to date.

Same here buddy. Took delivery 3 days ago for a 3LR awd no FSD and I’m on the same version as you. It’s been connected to WiFi every night since then. Hopefully we’ll get it soon!

No and they canceled my appointment saying I had the most up-to-date available for my VIN. Seems like a bit of a purgatory that we're not v10 eligible. Wonder if there's anything common among the 50 something 32.2.4 cars in TeslaFi.

My tesla is also blue may 2019. SR plus though... that was right around when they first started making hw3 into cars, maybe we got an earlier revision of hw3

Could be. I noticed my HW3 computer is different from the initial batch that went to Europe. Mine and probably yours are 1462554-00-G, while revision H was closely on the tail of this in June. Per an earlier post, @Realmattyt is also on this less common "G" HW3. I wonder if they're stuck at 9.0 also.

Ok. So i had 32.2.2 and after spending time with support on the phone friday i finally got my a working download today. i initiated the upgrade....16 min later i am now running 32.2.4....

still no v10. i give up... and now can be part if the 1% hehe

My car got an update notice about 18 days ago but was out of town without wifi. Now that I'm back home, the update indicator is gone

i'd suggest calling the tesla support line. They can kick off another fw push.

If you log into the tesla website and see that chat feature in support, if you are lucky someone might answer and you can ask them to push the update by giving your last six digits of VIN. That is what happened to me and 5 mins later our two cars were updated. These are basic cars not top spec models

I feel the same way. Imagine if Apple rolled out updates like this to the iPhone. I also want to see if the dancing cars go away, as some other folks have mentioned they saw huge improvement. I have buses doing 360s around my car all the time. It startles me every time it happens.

Yea...I still don't have it. Kind of a pain.

Took delivery yesterday with same trim and verison. Hopefully will receive updates in the next two days.

I don't think it matters. Many who recently ran the gauntlet of Customer Service ended up with another v9 release. I keep watching for 32.2.4 or 32.2.2 upgrades on TeslaFi hoping for the problem to resolve itself.

BUT called and got 32.12.4 today. They were all professional and helpful.

Feels like a new car again.

I’ve got the same exact version. Got mine 5 days ago. I’ve reached out to support and they replied the following:


Thanks for reaching out to Tesla. From what I can see from my side it seems this issue has been resolved. The software has been downloaded to your vehicle. Keep an eye on your mobile device for a message to download to your mobile.

I saw somewhere (maybe in this same thread?), that Tesla waits 7 days after delivery as that’s the time customers have to return the vehicle. Not sure that makes sense, but will wait 2 more days to reach out again if nothing happens until then.

Might be coincidence, but it did took ~7 days to get my first update when I got my car. I was already behind (no Beach Buggy Racing) when I got the car and that update had been release for more than two week maybe.

I had "make sure the car has the latest firmware" on my delivery checklist, and was not able to check the box at delivery. They told me "it'd eventually come through". I used the app to schedule a software update appointment before I left, and as soon as my car got into my home Wifi, it found an update to install. I know this is anecdotal black magic and reportedly the "software update appointment" trick does not work for all, but if you have not tried it, it can't hurt.
