As far as I know the newer release of FSD does not take into account the radar inputs ( essentially it has been disabled even if you have the radar it).

Sounds like the tesla vision is turned on the FSD beta is on. I thought even for those cars without FSD the autopilot would only use Tesla Vision as of a certain date. I am looking for that date for the model X.

you can't go by date , as these features are enabled/controlled by software release/ version numbers .
