I took delivery of my MYP 2 weeks ago and dropped it off for service last week for some minor things like paint chips, steering wheel pleather had a wrinkle, and the driver door was rubbing the trim when opening/closing. I also discovered the jack points to be pretty banged up so added that to the list. The service advisor said he's never seen that before and wasn't sure what the fix would be since it's part of the battery module. He just called me and said they need to replace the whole battery module and he already created a service appointment 2 months away on my behalf. I asked him if this is a safety thing and he's following up with is tech.....but my concern is performing a seemingly invasive repair and any human error that could be introduce that would affect me down the road. What do you guys think?
