maybe it's an unhealthy sense of voyeurism, but i'd sure look forward to seeing that correspondence. I suppose it could be innocuous, but if I had to guess it basically says they need to slip in this new language to keep tesla out of michigan. that would be a smoking gun.

Unfortunately, according to the article, were not going be able to satisfy our voyerism. The files are restricted to the attorneys eyes only. Maybe we'll see it if there's a smoking gun introduced as evidence at trial.

Must be some good stuff in there though if they fought so hard to prevent its release.

Somehow, assuming they lose again on appeal, if they do appeal, one way or another the content will become public. After all, based on public comments, it seems probable that the legislators will lose and Tesla will eventually be able to sell directly in Michigan. I admit it, that could be wishful thinking.

When I saw that article headline, what I mistakenly read - multiple times - was:

"Tesla gets to find out what lawnmowers were saying about it"

I was like, "Did the singularity happen while I was outside working on my trailer?"
