I upgraded from HW 2.0 to HW 3.0 for my model X 2016, and on YouTube channels it indicates that you should be able to see Cones on the road. Mine now can see stop signs and traffic lights but not the cones any idea.
Thx
Malik
That’s pretty odd... you have driven by an orange traffic cone near your lane and nothing shows up on the dash? Here it seems almost comical. Cone can be across the street and there it is on the dash. I find it funny because it can be totally irrelevant for the car because of where it is placed, but it still renders on our car.
How about trash cans? That’s the other one. If you have trash cans in your area that are placed near the street, the car will render lots of trash cans on your display...
So I just got my model S autopilot hardware 2.0 upgraded to HW3.0. i did not get the MCU 2 upgrade so i still have MCU1 with HW3. Now my car can see the trafic light and can respond to it but i do not see the traffic cones. i had a 2.5 loaner with MCU2 and it was seeing the cones but my car does...
Very late 2016 FSD, MCU1 but with the HW 3.0 upgrade. I’ve got traffic lights, but it would seem that traffic cones have eluded me. Is this a camera limitation? My car is FSD, has the side pillar cameras and the rear facing fender cams...if they matters. Looks like I’m on 2020.36.
