There are times that I am sure Siri behaves perfectly and from the commercials, one would think that is always the case. Alas, Siri (or her equivalents) are disabled on my technology. Does anyone use Siri consistently? Why do folks believe the car AI will do any better? At least no one dies when Siri fails.
The Google and Microsoft voice recognition engines are pretty good getting accuracy scores near or exceeding humans in many cases.

So you use voice recognition for everything? Didn't think so. Everybody says it works great, but don't use it. My wife will not turn her AP 1.0 on after a couple scary situations. I use mine, but "I want to believe . . ."
