Musk has said that Tesla will be rolling out a feature that preconditions your battery when you are navigating to a supercharger in order to reduce your charging wait.

Can confirm, I am not early access and went from 2019.8.3 to 2019.8.5 and now have NOA lane change without confirmation. Nothing about battery conditioning mentioned in the release notes.

Just tried out lane change without confirmation yesterday after the update and it worked perfectly! Overall, NOA seemed so much smoother and behaved better than I can remember. A car ahead of me made a quick change on the highway into my lane about 2 cars ahead (I had distance at 1) and there was no braking or slowing down, NOA kept pace, much less phantom braking, car stayed in the middle of the lane so I am very impressed. Also, the bug I had on 8.3 was the backup camera being black for a few seconds when putting in reverse but that appears fixed with the 8.5 update. Thank you Tesla!!!
