No-one in their right mind would agree that moving to a touchscreen for nearly all driveable functions including essential ones like 'AC', Emergency SoS, wiper speeds etc etc - was an intelligent move by the OEM's.
Probably tolerable if that screen was front and centre of your line of sight but not offset!

By January 2025 - OEM's will be given the 'option' (not mandatory) to think again about where they put their essential controls. And if they don't match Euor NCAP's template - that new car will atuomatically NOT get a 5 star rating.
