Body shop say 3-4 weeks and £3.5K approx, new front Bumper Section, new Bonnet painting etc. and new nearside Headlamp Cluster. The hire car is a Toyota Corolla Hybrid, they probably thought they were doing me a favour but they weren't it's terrible.Funny, not !
Hi yes it is them, Techie who picked the car up seemed to know what he was about so here's hoping. Is that Mitchell and Inglis? They did a good job of my bumper when I reported stone chips on delivery. They also kept the car charged while they had it.

I had thought that some of the delay stories on here for repairs were exaggerated but I know now that they weren't. Mitchell and Inglis have now had my car for nearly 6 weeks and are sending me quite depressing 'next update in a week' messages which don't instil confidence. I know this is probably down to Tesla Parts Availability and not them but it is a bit much surely Tesla should hold standard spares kits in the UK bonnets, doors, wings and headlights etc. must surely be standard crash damage components ?Last bodywork/paint I had done was about 5 years ago and was the first for many many years ... and I have to say the quality that was achieved was staggeringly good. Things appear to a moved on in that sphere. I'm sure your car will be restored "as good as new" ... or even better perhaps! (Any repairs I had "back in the day" tended to look quite decent for a week or so and then you started to see past the initial glossy finish and they were actually quite uneven and over time would deteriorate differently to the rest of the car... looking worse and worse.)
Experiencing similar delays with mine. Got rear ended and the parts delay for the boot lid and rear bumper keeps pushing it back. It went in on 3 June…I had thought that some of the delay stories on here for repairs were exaggerated but I know now that they weren't. Another week passes and another depressing update that a Bumper clip is now holding up up the repair, it'll be 2 Months tomorrow. Spookily my Direct Line Insurance Renewal arrived today, they've actually reduced it by £15 and the Deer Impact has had no effect on my No Claims just costing me £750 Excess. Given some of the Horror Stories you read on here re Insuring a Tesla that's a Plus 1 for Direct Line in my book. All checked in via Direct Line with a Tesla Specialist Repairer in Glasgow, apparently I get a Hire Car for the duration of the repair, good deal for my £750 excess !
Hi,I’m grateful to the M3. Coming home from a evening’s fishing, I was about a mile from home on my rural road when the car slammed the anchors on.
there was a deer standing in the opposite lane just about to cross the white line onto my side of the road. I didn’t see it but the car did!
No, just normal driving. AEB must have cut inHi,
Did you have TACC or Autopilot activated I didn't and I'm wondering if either might have saved me the crash and subsequent delayed repair.
I'm waiting on a trunk lid and a few other parts. Are you waiting on 1101809-S0-A, and 1121191-00-E? Mine mine in July 8thExperiencing similar delays with mine. Got rear ended and the parts delay for the boot lid and rear bumper keeps pushing it back. It went in on 3 June…

Not a house or car in sight. Are you sure it was for the deer not for a car parked on an adjacent driveway
I'll get my coat...
The doc I have doesn’t show those part numbers but yes it was the boot lid and rear bumper assembly that took the longest. They arrived about 5 weeks after being ordered.I'm waiting on a trunk lid and a few other parts. Are you waiting on 1101809-S0-A, and 1121191-00-E? Mine mine in July 8th
