I posted on Twitter that Monday I got a letter from Tesla. I fantasized that it was an NDA in anticipation of a software download, was disappointed to learn it was a Covid refund check from Tesla insurance. Darn!
It’s beta, so the bad drivers would likely create mayhem and ruin it for the rest of us “ahem” drivers and you “good” drivers.
I thought I'd gotten the new software but then I remembered that my mother-in-law was in the back seat barking orders.
I am betting this software will only be available in States where Tesla has worked in a Law permitting vehicles initiating their own commands.
I got a software update yesterday (Monday), but was disappointed to find out that it was just 2020.40.4 --> 2020.40.8 and not 2020.44 as I was hoping. However, I was pleased to see that (according to Stats) I was one of the first to get 2020.40.8. Maybe 2020.44 will arrive soon as well...
2020.40.8 must have been the general release last night, did anyone here get 20.44? I am sure that if Tesla can see my driving style, I might be among the last to get it, even though I use navigate on autopilot 95% of the time on the expressways.
