"Special Thanks, Tesla Motors"
Time Framed Teaser featuring Model S
What car did those keys belong to that he threw to the valet?! Keys...that's so 2011.
Originally it seems like they "failed" the key, because it jingled when caught by the valet.
The still seems to show that they actually showed the proper key (or at least something that looks like it).
See my post in the other thread.
Please post a link so anyone can find your other comment. Thanks.
@NigelM - Time Framed Teaser featuring Model S
Thanks. Threads merged.
When is the movie coming out?
If you listen carefully, I think they failed on the line the valet uses as well...He says "I'll charge it right up front" but if you just listen, you can hear that it's a bad audio cut...I'd bet a fair amount of money that he said "I'll park it/keep it right up front" and Tesla made them change the line...If you look at the credits, they give Tesla a "Special Thanks" which means this is not a random use of the car, it's a specific product placement. And with that, I'm sure that there are accuracy stipulations that go along with it.
Having said that, they key jingle does seem like a fail, although some people do attach their car key/fob to their house key keychain.
Yah, I was willing to suspend my disbelief given that possibility.
This screams "Straight to DVD"
Can't imagine giving my house keys to a valet while I go to dinner.
Now that you mention it, I don't think I've used a valet since 19xx.
I'm too cheap to use a valet on multiple levels.
When I first came to the U.S. someone said to me that Americans will drive 20 miles to go to dinner but then pay someone to drive the last 20yds to the park space.
A LOT of places in Los Angeles have valet...It's almost a way of life.
A net negative to high population centers, IMO.
Model S in Family Guy episode? Couldn't believe it and had to pause the DVR. Am I right?
