Blog Tesla’s Supply Management Boss to Leave

Liam O’Connor, Tesla’s vice president of global supply management, has resigned from the company, according to a report from Bloomberg.

O’Connor joined Tesla in March 2015 from Apple. He is at least the fifth senior executive to leave the company in the past few weeks. The company’s chief accounting officer and heads of human resources and communications left this month. The vice president of worldwide finance is slated to leave in early October.

The company has lost 42 executives in 2018, according to a tracker maintained by Tesla short-seller Jim Chanos.

And, Tesla itself has discussed a team restructure. The company announced a number of promotions earlier this month as a part of assembling a new cast for the executive team.

I'm always surprised when critics claim Elon tries to do too much and doesn't hire "good" people to get/keep Tesla on track. Just how much "better" do they possibly expect Tesla to do??

Of course one of the "funnest" critics claimed to be a college student specializing in "supply chain management" and claimed his school was one of the top 10 and his professors offered a criticism of Musk management.
