Mine also updated with a "2-4 weeks from order placed date" Hoping this means I'll get a VIN and delivery date soon as I ordered 8/28 which was 2 weeks ago today. If I'm not mistaken, "order placed" was when you paid the $100 right?

Correct. But Tesla prioritizes your order based on when you completed all of the 'registration details' (as they refer to it) after your order is placed. It's the name, address, drivers license, insurance, etc. info.

Thanks for confirming I’m not crazy.

I cannot confirm that. :D

I have update all but the insurance part since I would need a vin. Are there any data points to suggest that would delay my order in any way? I cannot imagine it would as it appears they are aware there apparently are only a handful of states that allow you to acquire insurance without a vin.

In my situation, I completed all of the reg info before I went to my local showroom for a test drive. While I was there, my SA looked up my account and asked for my insurance policy number (for my current vehicle) and he used that to enter into their system. Not sure if that helped but he made it sound like it would help prioritize my order. Sure enough, 2-3 days afterwards, I saw my MVPA with VIN.

Yeah, my SA had me upload my current insurance, but I haven't had the same experience. Still waiting on VIN and whatnot. But hopefully soon!

Actually, our SA, (Cristina) who works at the Florida Mall in Orlando, has been excellent! Really, she's been proactive and very well-informed. She's also very friendly! My wife and I ordered our MY sight-unseen, like many of us. The day after we placed our order, she called us to welcome us to the Tesla Family, gave us her cell number and her office number, and gave us a full "what to expect" briefing. She has answered our questions honestly, and has kept us updated throughout the process. We dropped-in to the Tesla Store (with no reservation) and she greeted us like old friends. She gave us an hour of her time to do a detailed "walk-around" of the display "Y" and ran my wife and I through the full tutorial of the control screen, and steering wheel controls. She then escorted us out to the parking lot, so that my wife and I could take a MY out for an unescorted test drive. When we came back from the drive, she showed us on her laptop that our car was already completed, and was on its way -- on a train -- from The factory to Birmingham, where it turns south to Orlando. She said that it might arrive earlier than the planned September 17 Delivery Day. Today, she contacted us to say: "I was tracking your car, and saw that it will arrive tomorrow, Saturday September 12th. Would you like to pick it up early?" You go girl! She is going to be at the SC when it opens tomorrow, at 9:00 am to make sure that the car is prepped for us, and she said that she will meet us to take us step-by-step through the inspection and -- hopefully -- acceptance process. Cristina is exactly the kind of person that any company could wish for. This is probably a bit too much detail, but she has really blown us away! This sounds like a Letter of Reference, but we really like her.

Just before we headed out the door to make the drive to pick up our car at the Orlando Service Center, our SA called us, and very apologetically told us that they had to postpone our Delivery Day. Bummer. During the SC acceptance inspection, they found a "part missing from the rear hatch". We're happy to wait until they get it right. We reset for Wednesday, September 16th.

Notice my mypa on my manage page yesterday. VIN 45XXX. White AWD LR FSD Black interior, 19".
No word from my delivery location (Westchester, NY). Anyone have time frame to expect a pickup notice?
I've reached out to the center and spoke with someone. They were very pleasant, seemingly helpful, but none of the issues I raised (price adjustment) have been changed.

My SA said sometime this week...
