Got my MYP, red/white, FSD, delivered yesterday. Super rainy here so I’ll get better photos later.
The car was perfect, except for a dirty hand print on the white dash stripe above the glove box. Seriously? Why you do me like that?
Anyway, this forum had me totally stressed about the car showing up like a three year Old’s Lego interpretation of a Model Y.
The fit and finish was perfect. All the seams and gaps were great, and there was none of the oft stated “boominess” when I drove it. Took my family out, and thought the tide was sporty firm, the harsh tide that some people complain about just wasn’t there. I think coming from a Model S, I had pretty big expectations. However, I do live in the Northwest, and our roads aren’t trash.
Thanks for updating us! I am a little worried as well, especially about the ride harshness but after reading your post, my feelings are more at ease. I'm getting excited and a little impatient for mine; I hope the wait is worth it!

Ok, here are some photos. Really rainy! Panel gaps are just about perfect! Overall, car is flawless.

Does this factor in the profile submission date? I don't see a column about that.

Current Status: waiting for a Model Y since Dec-02-2020. (Long Range MSM with FSD)
Timeline: Ordered (Oct-25-2020) -> Profile Submitted (Nov-29-2020) -> Accepted the Loan (Dec-02-2020) -> Waiting for the VIN.
Location: Bay Area/ San Mateo, CA.

And the manage order page clearly mentions that "Delivery time frame is based on order date, profile submission, delivery location and vehicle configuration."

@Troy could we add this column or is it too late? Have not seen any discussion about this so far. Thanks in advance.

Nerding out with the data some more, I also did a regression of days to delivery on car and order characteristics. I used only orders from May 1, 2020 (after delivery times level out) to September 30, 2020 (not so recent that many are still not delivered). Here are the results:
Speaking of nerding out, I'm wondering if you've updated your calculations since your original post? Curious how it's changed through the end of October or November... :)

Just ordered MYP, Grey, Black Interior, FSD, No tow last night (12/21/2020) and the estimated delivery date in my account is Dec. 29-31. How accurate is that delivery date range? Seem absurdly fast to me.

Ordered my MYLR, Grey, FSD, tow last night 12/23 with expected delivery between 12/24-12/28. Very skeptical it'll be that fast, but I got a VIN early this morning! Delaying delivery until after Jan 1.

Ordered my MYLR, blue, no FSD, no tow on 12/21 and immediately had VIN on manage page. Next day completed financing/ trade and received text from Mt Kisco (NY) delivery center to schedule appointment. Earliest available was the 30th. Chose that date at noon. Still have not made final payment or E-signed loan because the manage page hasn't given me the opportunity to yet. Today I got the "Get ready to meet your Model Y" text. No contact yet from Mt Kisco and delivery is on wednesday. Chat agent on Tesla.com said once I've entered the 72 hour window I should get the ability to make final payment and e-sign documents.

How does one verify they're getting the 1-year free super charging? Part of the reason I decided to order when I did.

I got a text message from tesla that says this:

I did not have it scheduled before this text. In fact, this is the text that led me to scheduling my delivery.

As an update to some of my previous posts, I talked to a representative at the Mt. Kisco SC and they are aware of my December 30 delivery appointment. The reason I haven't been given the opportunity to do my final payment / finish paperwork is my MY isn't going to arrive there until tomorrow evening (the 29th) or the following morning (the 30th or delivery day for me).

The rep I talked to today said that a SA would be calling me tomorrow to finalize some details. I will ask then to verify that I get the 1-year free super charging (not that it would change my mind if I didn't, but I will push for it). I have done some research and the final paperwork one usually signs has the actual mileage of the vehicle on it so I'm assuming that's why I haven't seen the final paperwork yet. Connecticut is probably one of those states that requires ACTUAL mileage to be recorded at time of sale...

Either way, I'm super excited!

And.... I just got the email that my delivery date has been pushed to 31 December based on the ETA of my vehicle at the Service Center... I replied saying I was available between now and the new year and hoped to have this done prior to then to receive the year of supercharging. I guess we'll see what happens...

(edit) Wish there was a way to track my MY.

Dang, hope it goes smoothy. As for tracking the SA can pull up your cars GPS (a little freaky, not sure if that changes once delivered). But they told me mine was in Iowa this morning working its way down from Chicago to Kansas. I have a 3+ hour drive and we are going to have to spend the night, so I have been bothering my SA more than I should. Need to take off work and pay for a room, don't want to pay/lose money because the truck is late.
